This morning I was informed that Mr. Pynn has passed away.
We all know the Pynn family from 16th street owned and operated the best deli on 9th avenue.
I was a huge fan of their Rice Pudding.
Their customer service was top-notch.
Mel Pynn and I were classmates at Holy Name and older brother Billy was always friendly to me whenever I walked into their establishment.
The Pynn family is a staple of Windsor Terrace. Very nice, warm and most of all friendly. If I ever make out a list of the top families from the neighborhood, they would surely be included.
Thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Pynn family.
