Last night I was watching the Yankees play the Washington Nationals on Fox.
Max Scherzer, pitcher for the Nats was interviewed during the game.
The announcer asked Max how he was coping during the pandemic, problems around the country, what advice does he give his younger teammates for the MLB 60 game season, etc.?
“You gotta keep a smile on your face. If you’re gonna cry about it, nothing good is going to come out of it. I don’t have a formula. There’s gonna be challneges every day. You never know what’s going to happen. You gotta take it in stride and keep moving forward. You just gotta go out there every day and do your job as best you can on and off the field.”
