BROOKLYN TO EAST LANSING

Been living in East Lansing, Michigan the past 20 years. Here’s a pretty good story from our local newspaper on my journey in coaching.

Enjoy…

Fine piece. You certainly give a writer some great material, Steve.
Good luck this season. I am coaching my grandson’s 5th grade CYO team. As you said, coaching is coaching.

    • Steve says:

Pass. Dribble. Shoot. Defend. Rebound. Screen. Dive on the floor for a loose ball…

      • Jim casey says:

Agree with all except for screening. That would crowd the ball side. Spread and drive the ball. We cannot shoot. No schoolyard experience out here in the wilderness.

      • Steve says:

Ball screens, on the side or the top of the key are highly efficient/and effective.
