How about Derek Jeter hanging out in Prospect Park today?

Seems like he’s been up there a few times. I don’t remember Mickey Rivers, Chris Chambliss or Willie Randolph being at the Diamonds watching us play? Oh wait, Randolph played down in the Parade Grounds so maybe, just maybe he made a few trips back to see the young kids play ball.

    Willie Randorfs kid brother played football for the Bklyn. 60 Pioneers. He came to see several times and he also came to Championship game which we won he was the quaterback. Canderlaro played down the parade grounds the differance was when Candy played everybody came to see him. Also Falcone who pitched for the Mets and went to Layfette played down there also.

    and Chuck Connors (The Rifleman) played there too, before going pro with the Dodgers and then onto Hollywood.

      Lots of guys played there…but for Jeter to be there watching while in retirement was pretty cool.

    To Don Cush how come I dont remember you coaching Bklyn 60. As for us loslng to St. Saviors that only happend once. Better check you cool aid I think somone is spiking it.
