The “LOT” man did I spend a lot of time playing in there when I was a Kid. Mr. Pesce cut the ties off the bottom of a section of fence so that one kid would pull it up and the others would crawl under it. unfortunately the kid holding would then have to climb over the fence.

      Tony,

The strongest/biggest kid always lifted the fence up. LOL

I struggled climbing over but managed.

But, sliding under was the ultimate.

Was this lot ever built upon? If so, what a shame. No wonder there are no kids left in the neighborhood: there’s noplace but the park to play in — and even there, you’d probably get yelled at for tearing up the grass by somebody who moved to a $3 million house on PPSW.

The lot is still there..the Boy Scouts do camping there..and kids still play T-ball…

    • Red says:

Yes indeed. The lot is still there.

Nice to see them still using it for baseball.

Good way to get the kids involved.

Next stickball game you pass on the street, take a picture.
