WHAT CAN A POOR BOY DO?

I hate complainers.

Have to admit though, I was a constant complainer at one time; call me a certified cynic.

But I learned to let all the bullshit go. Plus no one listens to you anyway and most people have their own problems.

We have been without power in our home for five days due to a wicked ice storm last Saturday.

“Life is a series of problems. Do we want to moan about them or solve them?” Michael Peck once said.

But we’re from ninth avenue in Brooklyn, we fight.  We keep moving forward.

Sometimes we are so busy adding up our troubles and complaining, we forget how good we got it.

To all my friends, Happy Holidays.

Respectfully,

Red

Hang in there Steve! Hope your power is back on – reminds me of Sandy at the shore but there were so many people worse off, no power for a week was a breeze for us. Wishing you all the best in 2014!

Happy New Year’s to you and yours……….and the way things work , you’ll probably get your power back just in time for the next storm 🙂

“A mere bag of shells” to quote the great one. Things could be a lot worse although at times it doesn’t seem like it.
Happy New Year to you and your family. Here’s to Long Life and Prosperity. Enjoy what’s left of the year and keep looking ahead.

Had no heat, hot water, or electric for 23 days during Storm Sandy. We told the kids not to complain, people nearby lost their homes…. Hang in there Steve…
