    Was there any other way to cover your books? And you had to make sure the stores name wasn’t showing. I don’t think they make paper bags that good nowdays.

    We used to get fined if we didn’t have a cover on the book! LOL

    I remember the heavy duty covers with Harvard, Yale, and Princeton labels on them. They lasted longer than the paper ones. As Tony said, if you went the cheap route and used paper bags, those labels had better be on the inside facing the book.

    They were my book covers as a kid and I still use them for my french fries. Nothing absorbs the oil like a brown paper bag. You put the fries in the bag with a little salt then shake it up and presto 🙂
