Welcome to the neighborhood; actress Debi Mazar and her husband. They picked a fantastic area to raise the family.
If you see her, say hi!
Looks like the Park Slope/Windsor Terrace neighborhoods are becoming popular for some celebrities. Stephanie Erbe, of “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” who worked alongside Vincent D’ Onofrio for several years, lives in the area. Stephanie Erbe played Richard Dreyfuss’s daughter in the 1991 film “What About Bob,” also.
There are a few celebs down on 7th ave too.
I think it’s Kathryn Erbe.. we have musican Mark Stewart, who has played with Paul Simon , Springteen among others.. regular guy who loves the neighborhood…
You are correct, jimmyvac. I didn’t realize it was Kathryn Erbe until after I made my post. Sometimes some neighborhoods are more attractive to down-to-earth celebrities who don’t want the glitz of a Beverly Hills, etc.
She used to work at Danceteria back in the day.
Now that was a cool club.
Spent many nights in that joint.
Steve, she worked the elevator. I remember seeing Madonnna there a few times. Tagging that stairwell with “Boy Toy”.
Hey, we had ODB in the Terrace before he passed, lol-
I believ Steve Buscemi also lives in the Slope.
Yes, you are right. He’s friends with Duffer.
I remember back in 78, making fun of disco with some other guys near the Odyssee, then we saw the girls all decked out… next week, we broker out the polyester..
Don’t forget Jennifer Connoly.
Steve Buscemi lives on 5th St- I used to see him when our office was on 7th Ave- John Turturro also lives in the Slope, he attends Mass at St. Savior, also Patrick Stewart just bought a home here, they described it as having “lots of bedrooms and a spacious back yard”- the report was he paid $2 million- and isn’t it crazy that I thought- “wow, he did allright for that price”????
Kathryn Erbe is married to the guy who played Mc Manus on OZ- I would love to run into HIM in the neighborhood, 🙂
I miss Oz; outstanding show.
