THE LITTLE THINGS

Quote of the Day

“Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

-Anonymous

The little things.

How often do you hear people talk about them?

There’s a book titled, ‘Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff’.

Is the small stuff the same as the little things?

Boy do I wish I had taken care of the little things as a kid growing up on 9th avenue.

Things like doing homework, reading books and being on time for school!

I don’t know Coach. Doing homework would’ve meant not playing ball in the schoolyard and not playing ball in the schoolyard would’ve meant not knowing the game and not knowing the game would’ve meant not coaching. So I guess not doing homework paid off for you 😉

Jacks right. Coulda, Should, Woulda. It’s all a matter of taking another turn or the other fork in the road.
I look at as: If your happy with your self and what you’ve accomplished than you took care of EVERYTHING. WE will always go through life saying Coulda, woulda, shoulda. But we really can’t sweat the small stuff. It is what it is

For me, the “little things” and the “small stuff” are different- the little things are like walking through the neighborhood when the trees are blowing a sweet fragrance- the small stuff is the person in front of me going through a door that does not hold it open- the little things are like when the sun is leaving brilliant streaks across the sky on it’s way to rest- the small stuff is when someone cuts in line in front of me- for the “small stuff”, I use the yardstick “how important is it?” I gotta tell you, 95% of stuff is NOT that important- by letting that go, you have the energy to deal with the 5% that is..
