CONDOLENCES

Thoughts and prayers go out to the Davis family.

Kay Davis passed away earlier this week.

Back in the day this wonderful family lived on Windsor Place between 7th  and 8th avenues.

Kay’s daughter Noreen was a great friend while we were teenagers growing up in the 1980’s.  Along with many others, we spent a lot of time together hanging out and having a ton of fun. Noreen was always happy and filled with positive spirit. Her smile could light up the sky!

Kay also had 3 other children; John, Collen and Theresa.

The Davis family was one of the best from the neighborhood! They don’t come any better!

Here’s the information:

Dennis S O’Connor Funeral Home 91-05 Beach Channel Dr, Rockaway Beach, NY 11693. The Wake is Wed and Thurs.

Funeral Mass is Friday at St. Francis de Salle, Beach Channel Drive, Rockaway Beach, NY

Very sorry to the the sad news of Mrs. Davis passing. You’re right Steve, the Davis clan is another great neighborhood family. My condolences to Davis family, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I spent a lot of time over the years traveling around the city and to plenty of other places to various events in a crowd that often included Colleen, Theresa & Noreen. Truly a fun bunch.

I wish to express my codolences to the Davis family. If this is the right family (Quigly), I grew up with Kay and sisters on Prospect Ave in Bklyn. At around 11/12 yrs of age, I babysat for Kay’s first born. Please accept my prayers in either case. Joan (Ferraro) Hanvey
