A fundraiser for the victims of Hurricane Sandy who live in Breezy Point.

Shoot, I may even make a cameo for this one (as long as my wife gives the thumbs up…)

OUR GET AWAY…

At one time or another, we have all gone down to Rockaway and/or Breezy Point.

Many have owned property there!

Well it looks like Sandy has caused some serious damage.

Thanks to Father Peter for this update:

Rockaway is getting hammered! Two of my brothers homes are destroyed. Fires everywhere and actual 10′ waves rolling down the streets.  

The Atlantic ocean and Jamaica bay have met!  Ask the followers on the blog to say a prayer for the people of Rockaway and Breezy point

VINNY BRUNTON OUTING

The Vinnie Brunton Golf Outing and BBQ will be held tomorrow, August 14th.

Golfing at Riis Park Pitch ‘n’ Putt in Rockaway ($90.00 fist come first serve)  8:00 am shotgun start.

BBQ in Fort Tilden in Breezy Point, in event of rain, Point Breezy Club.

$40 for BBQ only, you can pay at the gate.

There is a free bus from Farrell’s leaving at 11:30am.
